God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good, and that’s His nature. Wow!

Once again, it was a great start to a beautiful day as I prayed by the tree. Today it felt as though God was using us to speak to the adults. Time will tell as the day passes on.

At the first stop, Nuper asked if I would give the message. He asked if I wanted to go fishing, which I agreed to. The talk is one I used last year that was quite effective.

The direction of the talk is talking about my life from birth until now. I spoke about how, although I had a great life, there was an emptiness that I could only fill by watching thousands of Ugandans take a stand for Christ. Val and Erv were my parents, GeorgAnn was my teacher—she did some damage with a whipping stick, but I will recover.

Ashley, on the other hand, was “Kathy,” complete with a kiss that threw my timing completely off! After a quick recovery, Collin represented my friends. Last but not least, Nuper represented, fittingly, my pigs. Nuper asked for a repeat at the second school, which was also successful.

Onto the soccer tournament: The tournament amazes me every day; youth and adults gathered in droves!

Today was an absolute highlight for all of us. They finally figured out how to allow the sound system to work with Val‘s phone, so she could sing to the crowd.

Her voice has to resemble the sweetest of angel voices in Heaven. It brought Nuper and I to tears for sure, and maybe the rest of the team as well! As she sang “Friends Forever,” the team moved through the crowd and shook hands. It was truly a God moment.

I am so blessed to be a part of this team. God is moving mightily through us. To him be all the praise and glory!
